Some users use the "|" and ":" characters as a quote  
 character instead of the more commonly used ">"       
 character. When either of these other characters are  
 used, they may be recognised (or not) as valid quote  
 characters here and "colour quotes" will be used,     
 just as they would for the ">" character.
