[x] New incoming mail packets will be deleted immediately after being processed. [ ] New incoming mail packets will be backed up immediately after being processed. Mail packet backups will be stored in a sub-directory of the SPOOL directory for each respective Server. Here's a typical example: SPOOL ├───02500001 │ 4759397d.pkt │ 475939b8.pkt │ 47593a42.pkt │ ├───JANUS ├───OPENXPUK │ 1.mail │ 2.mail │ ├───STARGATE │ 1.mail │ 2.mail │ 3.mail │ └───VMNEWS 0.NWS *.pkt = Fido backups *.mail = email backups *.NWS = news backups NOTE: Backups will be deleted at the next Netcall to each respective Server, providing new mail arrives. If no new mail arrives, existing backups for each respective Server will be retained. If, for some reason, a sub-directory doesn't exist for a respective Server, mail packets will be backed up with an extension of .BAK directly in the SPOOL directory. This does not apply to Fido mail packets(*.pkt), which will remain directly in the SPOOL directory. However, this scenario should never arise :-)
